I’ve traveled across the world, exploring remote roads, places off the beaten path, and everyday life in different countries. I love backpacking, but overland travel has always had a special place in my heart. There’s something about it that feels truly free—you can go anywhere as long as the road keeps going.

But at the same time, travel isn’t always easy, especially in a foreign country.
Planning routes, finding places to sleep or shower, understanding transportation systems, figuring out toll systems, buying SIM cards, discovering local food, and avoiding tourist traps—all of these things can quickly become complicated. I’ve experienced that firsthand.

One day, our car broke down in the middle of the desert in Argentina, far from any town and without internet. We spent weeks going from mechanic to mechanic, thinking through every possible solution, but in the end we were completely exhausted. The worst part was that we had to sell the car and stop our road trip. At that moment, there was no one who could really help us.
That experience changed the way I see travel. I started to focus not only on the beautiful moments, but also on what actually happens when things go wrong—the real, practical side of traveling.

Now, I share what I’ve learned from traveling around the world. Not just memories, but the kind of practical information that makes you think, “I wish I had known this before.”
